ZALIS: A FRENCH FIRM WITH AN INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION
For the last 10 years, ZALIS has regularly worked on international projects on projects in Italy, Spain, the UK, Morocco, and elsewhere, including the sale of video game subsidiaries, the search for investors for a high-tech company in Canada, and the restructuring of an automotive supplier and a chemical factory in Poland,. ZALIS works with SMEs as well as large companies in both the public and private sectors.
Our service offering
ZALIS offers a wide range of services centered around four core activities:
- Restructuring and turnaround (operational and financial)
- Strategic consulting
- Growth and change management
- The search for equity investors and debt financing and M&A (including organizing due diligence).
Through these different activities, ZALIS participates in the development and consolidation of market sectors, particularly in industry, wherever they are located, thereby protecting both technologies and jobs.
ZALIS works with French clients to help them resolve international issues, with international clients to help them with issues in France, and with international investors looking to establish a foothold in Europe.
Our experience helping investors in Europe
Thanks to its knowledge of leading European players in key areas such as the automotive and aerospace industries, ZALIS has been able to advise international companies and investment funds on their European operations.
For example, ZALIS has recently worked with major investors including Cerbérus, Silverpoint, Apollo, Monarch, and Davidson Kempner on capital investments in Europe.
ZALIS’s team of experts has broad international experience. They speak many languages (French, English, Spanish, Arabic, and others) and are used to working in culturally rich and cosmopolitan environments. The team can mobilize quickly to provide assistance either in France or in foreign countries.
Through its multifaceted team, ZALIS stays abreast of today’s economic realities and can work hand in hand with its clients, no matter where they are located, or how culturally and linguistically diverse their environment may be.
After developing its first partnership in France with the Jacques Attali consulting firm (A&A) in 2007, ZALIS has continued to develop strong, strategic partnerships at an international level.
In 2012, ZALIS partnered with GlassRatner, a turnaround leader in the US.
In 2015, ZALIS and GlassRatner, bolstered by their shared success, joined BTG Global Advisory, an international network of independent turnaround specialists in Canada, the US, the Cayman Islands, Brazil, India, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France.
These partnerships are important for regulated activities, as each partner can rely on the other partners’ official accreditations.
ZALIS opened its own office in New York in 2013, followed by an office in Montreal (Quebec) in 2017 and ZALIS USA.
